Ok, I need help with this...
this summer I can either
1) go to India for a month travelling and holidaying yet fulfilling an ambition to see non-western life
2) go to Uganda for a month on a mission to help set up educational programmes ion humanist schools (not much holidaying, pretty hard work & roughing it)
3) Somehow try to afford to do both

also flight to Uganda is more expensive than India by £100

HELP!!!

Now that is a tricky one!

The selfish gene would probably dictate that you go to India, although the sensible option is to go to Uganda. The chance to set up educational programmes is likely to be a limited time offer, whereas India will always exist and most likely exist in a non-Western fashion.

Ultimately you are going to have to make the call...

Also chances are you'll see some non-western life in Uganda too...

Both sound AMAZING though, I'm quite jealous.

You may be well ahead of what I am about to say but:
You may wish to contact
http://www.iheu.org/
or http://new.iheyo.org/

but something tells me that they are the ones behind your trip already.

:D

When you come back, make sure to write some articles about your experience.

Have fun and learn a lot!
