Hey all,

I'm Sam - one of the founders of Warwick Atheists and their first President. As we are coming up on our second year of existence, I have now been succeeded, but I hang around pretending like I still matter. :)

Much like our founding president, though he managed two terms as president...

Welcome to the forums!

Great, another group enters the fold. I presume you'll be coming to the conference/meeting?

Nice to contact Warwick Uni. I shall visit Warwick Uni for work on May the 16th. You guys have a really promising Neuroscience department. And you animal facilities are huge!

So, Presidents that hang around and try to help...
should I be referred to as a "hanging president" then?
I miss an official tittle in my signature and I do not want to sign as ordinary member or minion. So, ...
Official tittle:

Roger Redondo
Hanging President,
Humanist Society University of Edinburgh

I like it!

Mike, your faithe in the hangink pressident must be so week that you even conssider mee makin a missspeling! It is certainly the compiuter that diisplaid the name Baggins wrong.
By the way, you know some Spanish and may find the translation Baggins to Bolson quite funny. Bolso is a handbag so Bolson makes him a big handbag.

Greetings all,

I'm Cai, another co-founder of Warwick Atheists :) Though I have now graduated and am at Cambridge, where I can't find any kind of active atheist/humanist society :/

I like what's going on around here! :)

Hi Cai, great to have you here!

I take it Cambridge University Atheist and Agnostic Society have disappeared? They have a 2008 events timetable on their website ( http://www.srcf.ucam.org/hmmsoc/events.htm ) but it doesn't get updated very often and they've never responded to our emails so I'm not entirely convinced they are real lol.

Well if in doubt, set one up! It'd be a shame if the Cambridge group was gone though, they're well old.

They call themselves "Atheist and Agnostic" but they use the happy human in their logo? That's a bit cheeky.
