Pretty much just lazy journalism. Atheist story - is Dawkins involved? - slightly - OK let's make it all about him! I feel sorry for him though because for all he writes extensively about how he doesn't want anything as sectarian as atheist schools/camps they always just assume he's a nutter. It's like they look at frothing religionists and presume that he's just as rabid about his beliefs!

On that point though, I've seen him do better in interviews. If you weren't familiar with his arguments then he'd be seeming to make references to fairies out of nowhere etc. I can't blame him for being tired of answering the same questions again and again though.
